Dom Mauro Inguanez dies
Dom Mauro Inguanez OSB was born in Isla on 21 September 1887. He was ordained a priest on 18 December 1911 in the Abbey of Monte Casino. He was instrumental during the Second World War, when he helped to arrange the transfer to the Vatican of many manuscripts that were in the Abbey of Monte Cassino, therefore saving them from destruction.
