The foundation stone for the new Dominican Convent

The convent of the Dominican friars next to the Annunciation Church in Vittoriosa we see today replaced the one that was hit during the Second World War on 19 January 1941. The foundation stone of the new building was laid on 27 July 1952 by the Provincial Edmond Klimeck OP. Works on the convent and the belfry lasted a little more than two years.
